"Camping" (Connor and either Claudia or Abby)
I hope our Mod feels better soon.
---------------------------
Title: Camping
Fandom: PRIMEVAL
Challenge: Primeval100’s “Camping” challenge.
Rating: PG
Warnings: None.
Pairings: none.
Characters: Connor and…is it Claudia? Abby?
Spoilers: Primeval 1-6 of s1;
Genre: drabble, challenge.
Word Count: 93
Disclaimer: I own none of the characters.
Short Summary: Connor refuses to give up his views on camping.
-------------------------------
The pack of therocephalians had cornered them here, against this corner-shaped intersecting slabs of rock in the middle of the deep woods. The vaguely wolf-like stem mammals (aka mammal-like reptiles, aka protomammals) hissed hungrily, their breath visible against the mildly-warm autumn air.
“Camping,” Connor said, figuring this was as good a time as any to finish the argument they’d started while they were looking for these Permian predators.
“For the last time,” worried this really would be the last of anything for her, “it is not the verb form of ‘camp’ and ‘campy’!”
------------------------------------
The End
Helen probably would’ve gutted him & let the therocephalians feed on him, while she makes her get-away. ;)
