Title: Finding Home
Word Count: (100)
Rating: G
Challenge: #102 Home Sweet Home
Characters/Pairing: Nick Cutter Nick/Stephen preslash
Warnings: None
Spoilers: None
Authors Notes: I really wanted to write happy fluff...sorry.
Nick hated coming home to an empty house, the one he'd shared with his wife. He had never managed to do anything about it though, instead spending countless night crashed out on Stephen's couch or slumped over his desk.
He hadn't given up hope on finding her.
Nick knew he wasn't smart when it came to realisations but eventually even he had to get a clue.
Finding out that Helen had chosen not to return to him had been that moment.
Home wasn't a house, an address, or a location.
Home was a person.
And that person was Stephen Hart.
