Oh, and a couple of LJ tips for you. If you want to reply to people's comments you have to click on the "reply to this" under their comment, otherwise they won't see it.
And it shouldn't matter what type of account you have, you should be able to edit posts just by clicking on the pencil icon at the top of the place you posted.
