Title: The Haunted House
Character(s): Connor Temple
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Drabble for the Primeval100 challenge 182.
Disclaimer: Not mine, never mine, don't sue (no money!).
Summary: Connor's grandmother's house.
His grandmother's house was large and rambling, and the relatives often accused it of being draughty. If you sat in the old parlour long enough, you'd get chilled, right to the bone. The old house was getting rather ramshackle, but Connor knew the truth.
That cold spot on the second landing, the 'drafty' parlour, the odd thumps, bangs, creaks and groans... Some of it was indeed an old house feeling innumerable Yorkshire winters in its bones. But Connor and his grandmother both knew - these weren't just tales or imaginings. They could see them; the old house had ghosts.
