Title: Frozen
Character(s): ARC Team, Scrat
Warnings: Silliness?
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Cross-over with the Ice Age movies. This won't make sense unless you've seen the first one. Not my best drabble, but I had to write this once the idea hit. *g*
Disclaimer: Not mine, never mine, don't own either Primeval or Ice Age(Mods, if you want this tagged with something other than just my username, do so, please! No crossover or 'team' tag, afaik.)
Summary: An anomaly produces a bit of a surprise...
It's snowy and cold, and the ARC team find themselves plunging through snowdrifts, guided only by a beeping detector. The anomaly has opened up in the back of a farmer's field and when they find it, it's hovering over a stream just deep enough to not freeze completely. It seems quiet and innocent, and then a large block of ice drops out of it and into the stream. As it bobs gently downstream, they all gape it, for frozen within the block are what seem to be a very strange looking prehistoric squirrel... thing, and, of all things, an acorn.
