Title: Honey, I'm Home!
Character(s): James Lester, OC
Author:
canadian_jay
Rating: G
Challenge: 191
Spoilers: None
Author's Notes: May possibly be very obscure to everyone else but me. Sorry about that. May also come off sounding completely wrong to everyone else, as you don't have their backstory in your heads. Oops. But I figured this would be as good a way to introduce Seth as any other. *shrug*
And possibly like many others, I want to see if I can actually write a drabble a week. Whereas before I'd only drabble if I was 'inspired'.
Disclaimer: Not mine, never mine, don't sue. Except for the OC. He's mine.
Summary: The past never really goes away. But would you really want it to?
As a rule, James Lester doesn't make mistakes. But he's only human and especially years ago, he did make a few.
Some mistakes, he's found, haunt you. Other's just don't... really go away. Except when they are gone, for a time. But then they come back, smirking from ear to ear and taking up room on the sofa.
"Honey, I'm home!" He crows as he steps through the door - Lester had forgotten he had a key - and James can only sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose as Seth Suero-Lester, age 22, waltzes back into his life.
