Title: Damaged
Character(s): Lester, Seth (OC)
Warnings: None
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Direct continuation from last week's drabble Getting Married in my drabble 'verse (which really needs a name... 'Unexpected Visitors', maybe?)
Disclaimer: Not mine, never mine, don't sue. Entertainment only. Except Seth. He's mine.
Summary: One thing about children...
"You're getting married?" Lester leaned back in his chair, a smirk curling across his face. "You don't expect me to pay for it, do you?"
Seth grimaced. "No, I need you to help me! It's all... well, a mistake."
"A mistake. You're getting married by mistake. I must say, I'm impressed."
"Impressed?"
"It's not everyone who's stupid enough to get engaged by mistake," Lester said, then continued thoughtfully, "Your mother will be so disappointed."
Seth outright whimpered. "I can't go through with it, Dad."
"And why not?"
He spluttered, then burst out, "Just think of the damage to my reputation!"
