Title: Fear
Character(s): Seth (OC)
Warnings: None
Rating: G (PG? Mention of fear? o.O)
Author's Notes: Set about 24 hours previous to Getting Married and Damaged, in my Unexpected Visitors drabble 'verse. Can be read alone, though.
And the "iridescent scales" and soldiers are what you think they are. If that wasn't clear. xP
Disclaimer: Primeval = not mine, never mine. This = no money made, entertainment only. Seth = mine, surprisingly.
Summary: There are things you don't expect to see while out for a walk in a park in London...
He heard the shouting first. The words were indistinguishable; the urgent tone unmistakeable. And the shouts were only getting closer.
Then, the ground began to shake. It trembled, and Seth's breath caught in his chest.
A split second after he'd scrambled off the path and behind a tree, some thing hurtled past. Followed by another thing, and another. All flashing iridescent scales and sharp teeth. But it was the men in black, armed to the teeth, who came thudding after that frightened him most.
Soldiers. Guns.
His hands began to shake. He succumbed to the memories, and to the fear.
