Back at home, Nick stood in the bedroom doorway and raised an eyebrow at his lover. “You stay, I stay? Really?”

Ryan looked up from stripping off his combat gear. “Well I wasn’t going to leave you in the past without me, was I? Idiot.”

Nick looked a little sheepish. “Aye, I may have lost my senses a little. It’s the first evidence of Helen I’ve had in 8 years. I do want to know what happened.”

Ryan strode over and cupped Nick’s face. “Understandable. You don’t have to look for answers on your own though.”

“Alright. Now kiss me?”
