 Shoot to Kill

Connor’s war against the Covenant was at the high point.  His thumbs and fingers moved with abandon over the video game controller. 

Abby glanced out of her bedroom doorway at Connor, totally oblivious to her hovering.  She hated it when he got this involved with a stupid video game.  It wasn’t like he hadn’t played it before. 

Well, two could play that game.  She dropped her robe on the floor and flounced naked into the kitchen, passing right in front of the telly. 

Two seconds later the Master Chief lay dead, riddled with alien bullets, and Connor was kissing Abby.
