Jess hated the armoury.

Something about the sterile environment, the mix of gunpowder and oil made her stomach queasy. She never had much reason to go in there, but even viewing the room on CCTV made her uneasy.

Becker, on the other hand, lived and breathed the armoury. She was certain he’d camp out and live there the rest of his life if he could.

He’s more interested in anything in there than he’ll ever be in me, Jess sighed.

She definitely wasn’t expecting it to be where Becker (finally) kissed her for the first time.

Jess loved the armoury.
