primeval100 Challenge 278 - Picture prompt.
It was a spectacular landscape of sedimentation and erosion, but it was the sky that stunned the men into silence. As the sun set the clouds lit up in colours of gold, pink and purple. When the camp was pitched they took a moment to sit and absorb it.
"Where's Van Gogh when you need him?" Cutter asked.
"No," said Finn. "He was great to show the heightened reality of everyday. But for that sky you'd need Turner for my money."
Cutter gaped.
"Finn's not one for words, but he does like to look at the pictures," explained Ryan.
