“What can you see?”

Abby whispers from the undergrowth to her two crouching companions.

One of them peers cautiously over a branch.

“Yes………exactly as we thought………..approaching slowly from a north-west direction………”

Abby’s second sidekick adjusts her weapon.

“Everything initiated……….they’re almost level with us……….just say when………”

Abby takes a deep breath…………steadies her own trigger…………

“Now………up………….aim…………..fire girls fire!”

As Abby and her daughters turn the full force of three garden hoses on Connor and their son at the front gate.

That will teach the boys to play short sheeting pranks.

Connor shakes his sodden head and laughs gleefully.

“Abby………Tomasina…….Sarah………This means war!”
