Something that's Everything
Title: Something that's Everything
Characters: Danny and Ethan

Challenge: 295 Grateful
It may seem strange to be grateful for not finding your way home yet.
For being trapped with savage, prehistoric beasts and a more-savage brother.
But today, just before he left to hunt, Danny rested his hand on Ethan’s shoulder
And, for the very first time, Ethan did not shake it off.
He let it rest there, briefly, lightly, before leaning forward to feed the fire.
At least it’s something.
Actually for Danny it’s everything.
A miracle.
Danny’s both grinning like a loon and blinking back tears.
Perhaps, by the time they get home, they might even share a hug………..
