Characters: Nick, Stephen
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Challenge: 308 Professor Nick Cutter
“Stephen, you’re my best man and we’re due at the church. You promised - Something old, etc. I don’t see a wee thing ready .”
“Calm down Nick. It’s fine. “
“How?”
“Elementary my dear Professor Cutter. Something new is Matt. What can be newer than a groomsman who’s from the future?”
“Something borrowed?”
“Jenny herself. Borrowed out of a rupture in time.”
“What about old?”
“That’s obvious. That’s you.”
“Ha, bloody ha. And blue?”
Stephen twinkles impishly. “Wait and see."
Because when Lester walks Jenny down the aisle, his silk tie and braces are as blue as a summer sea
