Lester sighed. What was the point in having a heavily staffed department underneath you, if you still had to make your own tea?

Waiting for the kettle to boil, he leant against the cupboards and surveyed the mismatched collection of mugs on the draining board.

The one with ‘I’m T.rexcellent!’ and a picture of a creature with its jaws open fiercely wide was positioned disconcertingly close to a mug with some winsomely fluffy kittens on it...

The next one along made him smile, though: ‘World’s Greatest Lover’. He didn’t know whose it was, but he was about to borrow it.
