Title: Us or Them
Word Count: (100)
Rating: G
Challenge: #97 Extinction
Characters/Pairing : James Lester
Warnings: None
Most people when confronted with the extinction of a species, feel a sense of loss and sorrow. They also never ended up in a position to be confronted by a species already extinct and in Lester's opinion rightly so. He didn't fully tune out Professor Cutter's excited babble over the dinosaur of the day and understood the fascination, but was practical enough not to get too involved. Couldn't very well say "Let the cute and fluffy dinosaurs through and we'll all live in harmony but shoot all the ones with big teeth." Shame, he'd gotten rather fond of the Mammoth.

Date: 2009-03-18 01:47 am (UTC)A very special bond (<3's the Mammoth)
LOL I can just see Lester down at the doors late at night, pacing slowly as he verbalises his thoughts and ideas, the Mammoth being the best confidant, won't talk back or argue and had the good taste to save his life
