Challenge #100
Title: Something Worth Celebrating
Word Count: (100)
Rating: PG
Challenge: #100 Celebration
Characters/Pairing: James Lester
Warnings: We aren't very nice to Helen and references to one of the incidents that did *not* happen.
Spoilers: End of Season 2
The clink of glass on glass was the only sound in the office.
James Lester poured himself a generous measure of scotch, then leant back in his chair.
Helen Cutter was once more in their custody, this time as secure as they could conceivably make her.
Finally.
Which called for a toast.
Nick, who had only just started interacting in a manner approaching normal had retreated in on himself again at the news.
All James' hard work undone.
Bitch.
Lester raised his glass in tribute to all those affected or lost because of her plans and manipulations, particularly Stephen Hart.

hey, its not Helen's fault that your hard work's undone, Lester.
What I was going for was that Lester had worked to get Nick functioning and back at work and that Helen being there again had shaken Nick enough that he retreated physically and emotionally. Helen being the ultimate reminder of the loss of Stephen (whether or not the blame was being placed on her and for this drabble it was)So bitch was aimed at her

Instead of happy celebration fluff the first thing that happened was James brooding.
*eyes her muse with exhasperation* It's punishment for the drabble ping-pong right? Please can I have some fluff?
