Title: In The Aftermath
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 775: In The Aftermath.
A/N 2 - I ended up putting the entire drabble under the cut - how do you link it to my DW journal?
I’d always known that the anomalies becoming public would be a disaster and the aftermath of Convergence merely proved me correct.
I was being run ragged, barely having time to sleep or heal as I tried to keep the ARC running under my control, while being grilled before far too many Parliamentarily committees.
Not to mention being hounded by the Press for interviews and demands for access to anomaly shouts. Or, indeed, dealing with the aftermath when they’d tried to obtain their own exclusive and needing rescuing before their latest ‘star’ ate them.
Sometimes, I really regretted leaving management consultancy.
