Title: “Did you come for this?”
Challenge: Primeval_100’s “forgiveness” challenge.
Rating: PG-13.
Warnings: Mentions of infidelity.
Pairings: None.
Characters: Helen.
Spoilers: Episode 6 Series 1.
Genre: Missing Scene, drabble.
Word Count: 111.
Disclaimer: not mine! I own none of them.
Short Summary: Very early in the morning in episode 6, series 1, Nick sneaks into Helen’s room.
-------------------------
Does he really think he’s being quiet? Even before I was pulled away, I always knew when you were sneaking out of bed, out of our room, and out of the house for another of your trysts.
Back then, I was too much the good little wife-of-the-tenured-professor I’d been brought up to be, and pretended to sleep on. Now, now I don’t pretend; no point to it. I open my eyes, and he stops, halfway to the bed.
“What do you want, Nick?” I ask. “My forgiveness?” anything else, and he would’ve knocked first.
“That’d be nice too. Actually I’m here to ask if you want chocolate chips in your pancakes.”
---------------
The End
Me: suuure you are, Nick. *rolls eyes*
