Want
Abby had finally decided that she wanted a real relationship and she wanted it with Connor. She was ready to take things to the next level, but he seemed content just being flatmates again. She would have to give him hints.
“Connor, are you up and ready, I’ll give you a ride?” she asked wandering into his bedroom.
“It’s really hot today, fancy an ice lolly?” She asked, licking sensuously down its length.
“I know it’s been a long, hard day for you…fancy a bedtime backrub?” she suggested.
But Connor was already deep in exhausted sleep. So much for subtlety!
Take
Connor wanted to get Abby to kiss him again, to know it wasn’t just a thank you gesture. He decided to take Abby out for a real date. He would just have to get up the nerve.
“Abby, I want to show you how I feel…” his words were drowned out by the alarms of the ADD.
“Can I take you out…” his words were cut off by the roar of a T-rex!
“I know it’s late, but I have to know…will you go out with me?” Connor finally asked, but as was Abby fast asleep, no answer was forthcoming.
Have
The romantic dinner was everything Connor had wanted to give to Abby: wine, candlelight, gourmet food and dancing under a starlit sky.
They returned to the flat. Abby waited for Connor to take her upstairs to make passionate love, but he stopped her on the bottom step.
“Abby, I love you. May I kiss you?” he stammered.
“Connor, I love you too.” Perhaps he just needed to hear that, “You can do more than kiss me.”
His eyes got wide and he swallowed nervously, blushing. “I wouldn’t know how…I’ve never…”
“Then I’ll just have to show you…” and she did.
