Title: Apples and oranges
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Challenge: #127 “Oranges are not the only fruit”
Character(s)/Pairing: Abby/Connor
“Connor Temple!“, Abby shouted from the kitchen across the living room, where Connor was playing with Sid and Nancy.
“You know exactly how much I love my freshly pressed orange juice in the morning. Where the hell are all the oranges?”
Connor knew that he had screwed up, so he kept an adequate distance to an infuriated Abby.
“I didn’t take any, I swear. Maybe it was Sid, or maybe Rex! He likes fruits.”
“Don’t blame it on the kids!”
Slowly and carefully, Connor approached Abby, picked up an apple from the fruit basket and said smilingly: “Apple juice today?”
