Title : Fruit Salad
Author : madcatt
Fandom : Primeval
Rating : PG
Characters : Nick Cutter, Claudia Brown, Stephen Hart
Disclaimer : Not mine, no profit, don't sue.
Spoilers : None
Warnings: None
Summary : Written for Primeval_100 Challenge #127, Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit
Author's Notes: Soooo... first attempt at a drabble, first real bit of fanfic for Primeval - please be gentle with me!
Stephen glanced over at Nick for the fifth time in as many minutes, hiding his grin behind his hand at the rapt expression on the older man’s face.
On the other side of the room, apparently completely oblivious to the effect she was having on the good professor, Claudia Brown was sat eating her lunch.
S tephen was fairly certain he’d never seen anyone quite that engrossed in watching a person eat fruit.
As Claudia wrapped her lips around a strawberry, Nick’s jaw dropped open and Stephen decided it was time to make a tactical withdrawal in order to avoid laughing in his boss’ face.
Follow up drabble:
Claudia leaned back in her seat with a sigh, nibbling on a piece of apple and turned her chair ever so slightly so that the glass panel beside her desk just managed to reflect the other occupants of the room.
Stephen appeared to be trying, and failing, to hide a laugh behind his hand, and a quick glance out of the corner of her eye revealed the source of his amusement: a slightly gobsmacked Nick Cutter apparently staring at her mouth.
Keeping her smirk purely internal with an ease born of years working in government, Claudia reached for a strawberry.
