Title: The Games we Play
Word Count: 100
Rating: T
Challenge: The Games We Play 10/11
Characters/Pairing: Connor/Abby
Warnings: -
Authors Notes: First Primeval fiction I've written, still getting used to the characters. Inspired by the occasional shots of Connor playing Xbox in Abby's flat.
"Abby! This is a really bad time to get in front of the telly!" Connor protested.
"I've lost Rex!"
Connor put down the controller, and joined Abby in the hunt.
By the time they found Rex, his jet had crashed.
***
"So, how do I play this one then?"
"Basic shooter controls, really," Connor said distractedly, his eyes glazing over.
"Meaning?"
"Oh, erm..." Connor thought for a moment, then put his arms around Abby and laid his hands over hers on the gamepad, guiding her fingers.
Before too long, they found new entertainment in each other, and the game was forgotten.
