10 pm December 24, the detector went off.  An anomaly had opened in one of the council estates in east London. Lester sighed “Christmas eve in one of the lowest income sections of the city.”

The team arrived just time to see through the apartment window a figure dressed in red emerge from the anomaly and begin placing presents around a sparsely decorated tree. 

When they arrived back at the arc early Christmas morning they found Lester waiting for them. 

“What did you see?”  

“We saw some very happy children unwrapping their presents, nothing else.”  Remarked Cutter “Merry Christmas, Lester.”
