Spoilers: Spoilers for series 2 episode 7

A/N: All the primeval fics i've written so far have been Nick/Claudia ones. So i decided to do a gen one. I'm usually okay at writing drabbles but i feel this one could have been better as a ficlet, so please bare with it. More A/N under cut as it is a bit spoilery,

A/N: This is something i thought might happen because Helen said 'be patient Stephen....' [can't remember the next bit, but you know which quote i mean]  perhaps Stephen and Claudia are not dead, but falling outside of time somewhere? The void? Now we're crossing fandoms, oh dear.. Anyway i'll shut up now... 


He’s falling and he cannot stop, time rushes past him, so do bright flickers of light shimmering momentarily before disappearing into the darkness.

 

He flails helplessly in attempt to break his fall, but he has a strange feeling he is not going to stop anytime soon.

 

Voices rush through his head, desperate shouting, and talk of being patient, he tries to process it all, but it disappears too quickly.

 

He never imagined death to be like this, the continued feeling of plummeting downwards.

 

Then it stops suddenly to be replaced by a whirlwind of light and he’s falling once again.
