Summary: Following the events of series 2 ep 1 Nick returns to the place where it all started to reflect.

This is where it all started, the disappearance of the two women he loved, both in this forest, first his wife Helen, then Claudia.

 

The sky is rapidly darkening above him, and he can hardly see where he is going in this half-light, stumbling over stray branches.

 

He can barely believe that just as his life had begun to make sense again after Helen’s disappearance, just as he had found the anomaly project, found Claudia, it all had been snatched away again and he’s left alone and confused wandering this forest in hope, because that’s all he has left now.
