He knows what he’s doing is perhaps not the wisest move he has ever made.

 

He can hear Lester’s words from a time which seems so far away now, ringing in his ears: I think I trust her about as far as I can throw a stegosaurus.

 

And even after everything that happened: the secrecy, the future predator, the change to the timeline, Claudia, Stephen, he still turns to Helen to undo the damage, to get them back, to set time right.

 

But as far as Nick is concerned this is no longer a matter of trust it’s a necessity.
