Cutter was staring again. And whatever had caught his attention was certainly not at eye level.

Initially Ryan had thought it was the holstered handgun, but no. He'd offered to lend it to Cutter, and had been turned down.

He'd checked his fly wasn't open - it wasn't that.

Maybe ...

"Cutter, could you hold my rifle for a second?"

"Sure."

"I just need to tighten this ..."

A resounding clatter echoed off the tunnel walls. Ryan tried very hard not to snigger as a flustered professor retrieved the rifle from the floor.

Yup, it was definitely the thigh strap.

Ho boy, if you haven't seen any of the pics of Mark Wakeling in a towel yet (bigtitch's 'Love Soup' or 'Peep Show' picspam, I can't remember which - I was distracted!!), then you are in for a treat. When I first saw Ryan onscreen I remember thinking 'He's a bit of alright', but those pics really kicked my Ryan!lust into life in a big way *g*

I'm relatively new to the fandom as well - watched both series when they were aired, but only got around to looking for fic a couple of months ago and got completely hooked :)

If you're in primeval_denial have a look for my Sanctuary!verse fics in there (/shameless self-promotion, lol) - my OTP is actually Connor/Ryan, but I seem to have got side-tracked into writing Ryan/Stephen. I blame fredbassett's Ryan/Stephen series *g*

Just spent that last while enjoying all those pics - they were more than awesome, and I just saw the Peep Show pics *guh* In fact, Love Soup has the full rear nekkidness, but Peep Show *phew* LOL
Sadly, I can't write anything above a PG-13, but I've been enjoying the ARChive website. One fic is out to beta, the other is half done *grin*

If you like Connor/Ryan, you should check out deinonychus_1's 'Five Days/Three Years' series. That's the one that decided my OTP for me.

And I haven't seen any fics with Ryan returning Connor's housekey - you should write it! :)

I'm seriously considering looking for the dvd of the 'Peep Show' series (which I've never watched), just to see that clip ...
