War

Connor placed the flowers in a vase and carefully set them on the table. Sid and Nancy looked up at them as Connor looked down, “NO EATING THE FLOWERS! NO! BAD!” he said waving his finger. Satisfied he’d made his point he headed to the shower, he wanted this evening to be perfect. “Nummy” said Sid.  “Nummy! Nummy!” echoed Nancy. Sid looked her squarely in the eyes and shouted “MINE!”  “Mine!” countered Nancy as she bounced forward to challenge him. Growling they both leapt onto the table.  The vase went over with a crash as they fought for the flowers.

 

Piece?

A wet and soapy Conner came out with a towel around his waist and saw the diictodons fighting over the flowers. “No those are for Abby!” he shouted as he ran down the stairs.  He chased Nancy and managed to wrestle a handful of flowers from her mouth as he lost his towel. He cornered Sid behind the couch and pulled the blooms from his mouth as he held him by his tail.  A noise alerted him that he was no longer alone. He turned and faced a bemused Abby. He held up the tattered blossoms, “I got you flowers.”
