Sweaty and shaking, Nick woke up in the middle of the night and sat upright in his bed. His gaze wandered to Claudia sleeping next to him and he exhaled calmly. Then, his thoughts drifted back to his dream…
”And now I pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride!” The priest announced and in the small but beautiful church, their guests cheered.
But just when Nick turned to Claudia standing beside him, her face changed into Helen’s. His smile faded and he stepped back.
“But… no. You’re dead!”
“But didn’t you know, Nick? True love never dies.”
