Challenge 196 - Phobia
Title: Arachnophobia
Character(s): James Lester, OC (Seth)

Author's Notes: Still set in my drabble 'verse (the rest this way). Also, many thanks to the lovely folks over on the PriWriMo thread (and on my flist) for the hugs and encouragement! I'm feeling much better now, aided by cold weather and Chinese food.

Summary: Back in the present time...
Lester had braced himself to come home after work to, well, anything. So stepping into the flat and being greeted by complete silence was more than a little surprising. And Seth's shoes were still there.
The silence held. Then out of the silence, from the direction of the bathroom, came a faint whimper
Lester entered the room to find Seth naked, one foot over the edge of the tub, frozen in fear. Fighting back a smile, he reached down and pinched up the small spider crouched innocently on the tub bottom.
"Thank you," Seth managed to squeak as Lester left.
