Authors Notes: Written for primeval100, Challenge #200 “Past Prompts”. Prompt used #50 “Desire”.

“She is not Claudia. She is not…”

Over and over, Nick repeated this sentence to himself, closing his eyes and concentrating on Claudia; her features, her voice. Although, all this was Jenny now, too. And it was her he couldn’t stop thinking about. He had to make himself clear that it wasn’t Jenny who returned his feelings, but what was in his head was only a memory of Claudia.

Still, he couldn’t help himself. When Jenny was near him, he felt good. Nick had to ask himself, was he falling in love with Jenny?

“She is not Claudia. She is…”
