A/N: only my second ever drabble

Nick Cutter was not a morning person. And he emphatically did not do early mornings. There had been days when he'd had to be literally dragged out of bed by Stephen, whose idea of fun was to get up before dawn and run ten miles.

Nick would far rather spend the time with his face comfortably squashed in his pillow, asleep. That way, he could wait for Stephen to finish his run, come back, and slide into bed beside him, all warm and sweaty and ready to kiss him awake.

Lots more fun that way for both of them.
