Characters/Pairing: James Lester/Captain Becker
Becker had heard the comments about Lester and some of his orders. Comments about arrogance, condescension and being cold blooded.
Becker was sure similar had been said about himself.
The comments didn't bother him, obviously they had no idea how hard those decisions were.
Those commenters couldn't know how those decisions affected the people making them.
They weren't there when James woke from yet another nightmare of losing his team members, his friends. Or when Becker suffered similar dreams.
They also never saw the passionate side of James Lester, the one so far removed from cold blooded, it was laughable.
