Lester admitted that perhaps he had become a little difficult to work with when the offerings started appearing on his desk.
It started with freshly brewed coffee just how he liked it, something that he never asked his assistant for, and she had never offered. Occasionally it was accompanied by a few good biscuits or another suitable treat.
He soon figured that the days he received the expensive chocolates were ones that followed a particularly trying episode.
Lester attempted to be less demanding when possible, but not enough for the offerings to stop. He was a smart man after all.
