Starch.

That was what Captain Tom Ryan was used to adding to his washing.

Not bloody fabric softener.

But now he was in this odd kind of team, where getting close to someone meant a great whiff of fruits of the fucking forest, or whatever the hell they called them.

And it wasn't just Abby and Claudia that were all soft and cuddly and whiffy. Stephen must put bloody bucket loads of the stuff in his laundry, the way those cashmere sweaters felt as he grabbed him out of danger.

And as for Connor...

Someone was borrowing his flatmate's Comfort.

Restraint is over-rated. You should write lots of Connor/Ryan whenever you feel the need to, and then I get to *read* my favourite pairing, as well as writing it.

I certainly need a holiday soon, the whole of August has been hell at work. I managed to get three days off in the middle of September, but not a full week. Even so, I'm looking forward to those three days a ridiculous amount right now.
