Domestic God (Continues on from Intensive Care)

Connor looked down at the operating table.  He could see himself, mangled and bloody.  It didn’t hurt.  He turned around and there was Ryan, his Ryan, with love in his eyes, holding his hand out for him to take.  Connor took it.  The operating room faded and a green hillside replaced it.  He could still hear the beeping of the machines, but he didn’t care. 

Ryan had a picnic laid out, bacon butties, orange juice and pizza.  He hadn’t had pizza in ages. 

“I missed you,” Ryan whispered, cupping Connor’s cheek and drawing him into a kiss. 

Beep.  Beep.  Beep.

LOL! No, he's not going to stay there. This is just a brief reprieve in his head. And hey, this AU Ryan isn't evil, he's just different. He grew up in a different much harsher world. It molded and shaped him, but he *is* still Ryan.
