The Way to a Man’s Heart

Ryan had been so different lately.  Connor couldn’t place it… it was as if he was looking at him less like a possession and more like a… friend?  Maybe. 

Connor tried to be stealthy as he made Ryan breakfast after he’d been allowed to sleep on his couch. 

Intent didn’t always match deed where Connor was concerned. 

!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!

Ryan smirked from the doorway, secretly watching Connor try not make a mess and succeed in spilling the flour, an egg and several slices of fresh fruit on the floor. 

Connor was worming his way in. 

Neither of them knew it yet.
