Title: What Doesn't Kill You
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Challenge: 275 - Faster, Higher, Stronger
Characters/Pairing: Abby
Warnings: None
Spoilers: Brief mention of character/scenes from series 2
Abby had initially taken up kickboxing for self-defense.
She continued because of the physical benefits—her reflexes became faster, her kicks higher, her hits stronger.
It was a way to work off her frustrations after a rough day at work. She really went at the punching bag whenever Caroline came around the flat cozying up to Connor.
The biggest reason was that it gave Abby a sense of power and control that she lacked. When she was in the zone, she felt as if she could outrun any creature that came after her and fight off every demon within her.
