The red dust is over the town.

Matt still isn’t sure about all this.

And the grass in the paddock is brown.

Yuletide down under is simply bizarre.

But he’s doing this to make Emily happy.

Really, how often do you win a ticket for an overseas trip?

Still, it’s so hot on this silver-sand beach,

Not to mention the mosquitoes and that odd carol blaring from the radio.

The tree-ferns in green gullies sway.

Just then Emily saunters past.

Is that bikini polka-dot??????

It’s certainly teeny-weeny!!!!!!

Matt grins and scrambles to his feet.

An Aussie Christmas has its charms…….
