Summary : Lester is a vampire, but not out to anyone.

 

 

Lester could hear yelling. Why was there yelling going on in the Home Office? Heading out to see, a ray of sunlight hit Lester in the face. He stepped back and raised his hand to keep the beam from hitting him. 'Damn sunlight,' thought Lester. He’d been a vampire for over 150 years, but at least he could go out in sunlight.

 

Going out into the main area of the office, Lester found one of the building’s security guards yelling at Captain Ryan and Professor Nick Cutter. The guard was giving Ryan crap about his SO weapon and, of course, Cutter had to get in the middle of it.

 

Lester cleared his throat. The yelling stopped and the men looked at Lester. “What’s going on here?” Lester asked.

 

The security guard spoke first, “The gorilla won't surrender the gun.”

 

“I don't have to,” Ryan said, “you berk. I'm Special Forces. I could kill you with one finger.”

 

“Lord, I thought it was hard to deal with Queen Victoria,” mumbled Lester as he pinched his nose.

 

Cutter looked sharply at Lester. 'Did Lester say something about dealing with Queen Victoria?'

 

Lester looked up. Lord, he could go for some AB+ blood.
