Connor always loved dinosaurs; in fact his earliest memory to do with dinosaurs was when he was six year old. He was given the part of a fierce Tyrannosaurus in his end of year school assembly.

Soon after, Connor became obsessed with them, he read reference books about them, bought magazines, put posters on his bedroom wall, and when his teachers asked him what he wanted to do when he grew up, he always gave the same answer, “I am going to work with dinosaurs,”

Little did Connor know, that one day, his job really would involve being with dinosaurs.

I think, looking back at series one, we first see his obsession when he shows Stephen all the research that he has on dinosaurs etc
